Snow Capped Pink stands out for the way three colours develop across the same foliage. Dense white speckles cover the green leaves, while blush and pink colouring appears between and over the markings.

The white speckling is relatively consistent, while the amount of pink can vary from leaf to leaf. New foliage often displays the warmest pink tones before shifting as it matures.

Its upright cane growth also gives it a different presence from trailing or rhizomatous Begonias. With regular pruning, it develops into a fuller, bushier plant that works well on shelves, plant stands, and in indoor collections.

Water: Allow the top 2–3 cm of substrate to begin drying before watering thoroughly. Water at soil level and avoid leaving the roots constantly wet.

Humidity: Approximately 55–75% humidity with good airflow is ideal. A humidifier can be helpful during dry Canadian winters.

Leaf care: Avoid regularly misting the foliage, as moisture sitting on Begonia leaves can contribute to spotting.

Temperature: Keep approximately 16–26°C, with stable temperatures above 18°C preferred. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Substrate: Use a light, airy and well-draining mix containing materials such as coco coir or peat with added perlite.
