Where We Ship
We currently ship to eligible residential and commercial addresses across Canada. We do not currently ship plants outside Canada.
Delivery to remote locations may take longer or may not be available through our overnight shipping service. If we anticipate a delivery concern, we will contact you before shipping.
Processing and Delivery Time
Orders are normally shipped on Monday or Tuesday following purchase. This schedule helps reduce the risk of plants remaining in a carrier facility over the weekend.
Most shipments arrive within one to two business days after dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the destination, weather, holidays or carrier delays.
You will receive tracking information when your order has been prepared for shipment.
Local Pickup in Richmond, BC
Free local pickup is available in Richmond, British Columbia. We will contact you when your order is ready and provide the pickup location and instructions. Please wait for confirmation before travelling to collect your order.
Cold-Weather Shipping
From October through April, shipped orders include seasonal cold-weather protection, such as insulation and a heat pack, when appropriate.
We monitor weather conditions before dispatch. If temperatures at the origin, destination or along the shipping route create an unreasonable risk to the plant, we may temporarily hold the order and contact you to arrange a safer shipping date.
Heat packs and insulation reduce cold exposure but cannot guarantee protection during severe temperatures, unexpected delays or parcels left outdoors after delivery.
Receiving Your Plants
Please monitor the tracking information and bring your package indoors as soon as possible after delivery. Avoid allowing live plants to remain outside, in a community mailroom or inside an unheated vehicle.
Carefully unpack the plant and allow it time to adjust. Minor drooping, yellowing, cosmetic leaf damage or the loss of an older leaf can occur after shipping and does not necessarily indicate a problem with the plantβs overall health.
We recommend:
- Unpacking the plant promptly
- Keeping it in warm, stable conditions
- Providing bright, indirect light
- Avoiding repotting for approximately four to eight weeks
- Allowing the plant to acclimate before fertilizing
Shipping Damage
Every order is inspected and carefully packed before dispatch. If your plant arrives with significant shipping damage, please contact us within 12 hours of delivery.
Include:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the unopened package
- Photographs of the packing materials
- Clear photographs or a video showing the entire plant and the damage
- A brief explanation of the concern
Please keep the plant and all original packaging until we have reviewed your claim. Each situation will be assessed individually, and the appropriate resolution will depend on the nature of the damage.
Normal shipping stress, minor cosmetic damage, soil displacement or damage caused by delayed collection after delivery may not qualify as significant shipping damage.
Weather Holds and Customer-Requested Delays
You may contact us before your order ships if you would like us to hold it because of weather or travel plans. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your requested shipping date.
Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, delivery timing is outside our direct control. However, we will assist with carrier-related concerns whenever reasonably possible.
