Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Quality filtered light helps reveal the plant’s metallic colour shift and supports healthy pink variegation. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. Grow lights are strongly recommended during darker Canadian winters.

Water: Water when the top 2 cm of the growing medium feels dry. Keep the substrate lightly and evenly moist, but never soggy. Allow excess water to drain completely and reduce watering during winter.

Humidity: Maintain approximately 70–85% humidity, with at least 65% whenever possible. Azlanii generally requires higher humidity than many common Alocasia. Low humidity may cause the pink sections to develop dry or brown edges. A grow cabinet or humidifier is strongly recommended during dry Canadian winters.

Soil: Use a light, airy, fast-draining aroid mix containing orchid bark, perlite or pumice, and a small amount of coco coir. Good airflow around the roots is essential.
