Alocasia Maharani Albo (also sold as Grey Dragon Albo, Albo Maharani, Maharani variegata) — a compact jewel Alocasia with thick, heavily textured reptilian foliage and chimeric white-to-cream variegation. Each specimen carries a completely unique leaf pattern. Every plant is individually photographed before shipping. What you see is what you receive.

CARE REQUIREMENTS
| ☀️ Light | Bright indirect light. No direct sun — variegated tissue scorches easily. |
| 💧 Watering | Water when top 2–3 cm of soil is dry. Never allow roots to sit in standing water. |
| 💦 Humidity | 60–80% preferred; 50% minimum. Humidifier or enclosed grow space strongly recommended — especially in dry Canadian winters. |
| 🌡️ Temperature | 18–29°C (65–85°F). No cold drafts, AC vents, or cold windows in winter. |
| 🪴 Soil | Chunky, well-draining aroid mix — perlite, orchid bark, small amount of coco coir or peat. |
| 🌱 Fertiliser | Balanced liquid feed in spring and summer only. None in winter or during first 3–4 weeks after arrival. |

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is Maharani Albo variegation stable?
No — chimeric and unstable. Each leaf may carry more, less, or differently distributed white or cream variegation. Reversion to green is possible but uncommon in well-selected specimens.
Is it the same as Grey Dragon Albo?
Yes — Alocasia Maharani is also sold as Grey Dragon or Grey Dragon Alocasia. "Albo" refers to the white/cream variegated form. Also listed as Maharani variegata and variegated Grey Dragon Alocasia.
What humidity does it need?
60–80% preferred; 50% minimum. Below 50% — common in Canadian homes in winter — causes browning on white sections. A humidifier makes the most significant difference.
How difficult is it to care for?
Intermediate to advanced. Requires consistent humidity, well-draining aroid substrate, and bright indirect light. Best suited to collectors with an established humidity-controlled setup. Not recommended for beginners.
